Valentines Day!

We at “Loving Island Life” love Valentine’s Day!  It’s a great excuse to let the people we care about, like you, know how much we appreciate your presence in our world.  We also love to have fun, so for all our loved ones, here are some very fun Valentine’s Day facts.

62% of adults say they celebrate the holiday

58 Million pounds of chocolate candy will be bought the week before February 14th, 36 million of that will be in heart-shaped boxes.

150 Million heart-shaped cards and gifts will be sent.

About 8 billion candy Sweethearts are produced annually.  That’s enough candy to stretch from Rome, Italy to Valentine, Arizona, and back again 20 times!!  Most are sold between January 1st and February 14th.
