“Loving Island Life” Bainbridge Island Grand Old Fourth!

Bainbridge Island Grand Old Fourth does the 4th of July in a BIG way!  We at “Loving Island Life” don’t want you to miss a single minute of the fabulous festivities that are coming up this weekend, so here’s the lowdown!

July 3rd Street Dance
Our awesome downtown association is once again having their annual July 3rd Street Dance.  This very popular event will take place on Winslow Way from 6 – 11 pm for food, music, dancing, and family fun.  This FREE community gathering is a yearly fund raising event for the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association. Break open your piggy banks, because the food and beverages will be cash-only. Complimentary family fun includes the always popular sidewalk chalk drawing, glitter tattoos, and balloon sculptures.  Check out the Downtown Association website for more details.

Grand Old 4th, Bainbridge Island’s biggest party!

The Grand Old 4th is produced and presented by the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce, with the help of dozens of volunteers and a handful of loyal sponsoring businesses. “Join us for the 2016 Annual Grand Old 4th of July Parade and Community Celebration on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017. The 50th Grand Old 4th will include a Pancake Breakfast, all-day Street Fair, foot races (benefiting Bainbridge Youth Services), a Classic Car Show, Live Music, Food, Entertainment, a Beer Garden, and plenty of Family Fun—all capped off by the “Best Small Town Parade in America.” The mile-long parade always begins at 1 p.m. sharp!  We have something new and exciting this year!  We are opening the “Young Artisan Marketplace” for our young and eager entrepreneurs.  For lots more information on the day’s events, go to the Grand Old 4th website!
