March is an exciting time on Bainbridge Island. We at “Loving Island Life” are especially happy to see our friends out and about enjoying the longer days and, this year, the abundant sunshine and warm temperatures!
If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate the vernal equinox this weekend, pop over to the Amelia Wynn Winery at 9974 NE Pt. View Drive. Amelia Wynn will be open this weekend, March 21-22, noon to 5:00. Meet owner Paul Bianchi and see the winery where NEW 2014 Whites will be sampled including the SAUVIGNON BLANC, CHARDONNAY, RIESLING, and ROSE. In addition the 2012 100% Sangio from Red Mt. and 2012 Cab Sauv from the Elerding Vineyard, House Block, will be reviewed. Weather permitting; wines will be served on the Patio. We’re a little less than a month away from the official opening of the Farmer’s Market. We’re looking forward to the symphony of sights, sounds, and scents that lift our spirits and tempt our taste buds. Some of the items you’ll find at the Bainbridge Island Farmer’s Market are locally made cheese, jams, soaps, and crafts. You’ll find flowers, veggies, eggs, meat and seafood, plants and honey. With live music and all your friends (along with their four legged friends) you’ll find there is something for everyone to enjoy, so we’ll hope to see you all there on April, 11th and all through the summer on Saturdays from 9 am to 1:00 pm.
