This week’s “Loving Island Life” blog features the Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market, opening this Saturday (April 12) for the 2014 season. Offering everything from organic produce to hot lunches and live music, it’s a perfect way to take advantage of the warmer weather and support local farmers and craftsmen. The Market is really a social event in its own right: perfect for bringing your pet or family along  to browse and enjoy the atmosphere.

Vendors also sell local honey and handmade beeswax products, fresh flowers, beautifully crafted ceramics and artwork, and an endless variety of other products that can be found while wandering through the booths.
