From the weekly farmers market to the Grand Old 4th celebration and the Summer Art Market at BIMA, summer on Bainbridge Island offers something for everyone to enjoy.

Saturdays, 10am – 2pm | Bainbridge Island Farmers Market

With more than 40 local vendors, including farmersfood vendors, and crafters with artisan-made goods, there is something for everyone at the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market! Visit the open-air market every Saturday from 10am – 2pm, April through November (rain or shine!) in the Town Square by City Hall.

July 3 & 4 | Grand Old Fourth 

As it has since 1967, Bainbridge Island will celebrate July 4th with multiple overlapping events taking over downtown Winslow and Waterfront Park from 7am until 5pm.

Wednesdays,  6:30 – 8:30pm | Sounds of Summer Concert Series

The Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District sponsors various special events for all ages in our community. Family events, concerts, dances, and humanity programs are just some of the many events held throughout the year.

July 7, 6 – 8pm | First Friday Artwalk 

Stroll the streets of downtown and enjoy art, film, food, and community on the first Friday of every month. Bainbridge Island’s Art Walk features galleries, studios, museums, shops, and restaurants showcasing the creative talent of PNW artists.

July 7, 5 – 9pm | Moonlight Market

Moonlight Market is a family-friendly night market with 30+ booths featuring a mix of art, slow fashion, crafts, jewelry, and vintage items. Enjoy street tacos, sourdough pizza, local oysters, and a beer garden with a thoughtful selection of beer, wine & scratch margaritas.

July 8, 8am – 2pm | Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale

The Rotary Auction on Bainbridge Island is the largest rummage sale you’ll ever visit! Volunteers transform Woodward Middle School into a truly massive collection of donated furniture, cars and boats, clothes, electronics, tools and equipment, camping and recreation, baby gear, and more. 

In addition to offering great deals on thousands of items, the rummage sale is for a good cause! 100% of the net proceeds from the Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale are reinvested in the community for special grants, projects, and scholarships.

Sundays Starting July 9 | Summer Art Market 

The Summer Art Market is taking over the plaza outside BIMA this summer. Explore vendor booths featuring handmade, locally-crafted treasures for sale, and enjoy the beautiful PNW summer, rain or shine!

This in-person art market will take place every Sunday, July 9 -July 30. Each Sunday will feature different vendors and local musicians.

July 14,  6 – 8pm | DIY Charcuterie Board Workshop

Come sip on the beautiful wine of Eleven Winery as you transform a sustainable, sourced live edge piece of Oregon Black Walnut into a charcuterie board that is ready to use when we finish. All tools, supplies, and finishing oil are provided.

July 25,  6 – 8pm | Bainbridge Island Classic Car Cruise-In

The Bainbridge Island Classic Car Cruise-In combines the love of classic automobiles with a desire to help local kids.

Open to the general public, come and enjoy cool cars and special interest vehicles or bring one of your own (no fee or advance reservation required). The car show is great family fun.
