“Loving Island Life” Fathers Day on Bainbridge Island
Bainbridge Island is a wonderful place to raise children. Excellent schools, sports programs, and performing and visual arts opportunities as well as a safe and close knit community are a strong draw for families. We at “Loving Island Life” have been impressed on numerous occasions by how involved island dads are with their kid’s lives. We see them at our parks, walking downtown, or at our local restaurants with their kids, giving mom a much needed break. This Sunday, June 19th, is Father’s Day, and we want to take this opportunity to say to our Bainbridge Island dads, we see you out there being awesome, and we salute you!
The Bainbridge Downtown Association is also celebrating Father’s Day in a big way this year with a Bainbridge Block Party! Visit over 20 food vendors; 3 local bands; and enjoy extended business hours at your favorite local merchants. Bring the whole family for a Father’s Day photo shoot sponsored by KicKee Pants; ceramic painting by Bainbridge Heart and Soul; face painting by Frida Haas; street chalk; and beanbag toss!
