Life on Bainbridge | October 2018
The Fall season is now in full swing, and Bainbridge is celebrating with festive events all month long. From a pancake breakfast to a haunted hayride the island truly offers something for everyone.
October 6th | Island School Carnival | 12 – 4pm
The Island School welcomes all ages to their 35th Annual Carnival. Open to the public, this event includes games, BBQ, live music and used book sale. Admission is free, game tickets are $1 each or $25 for unlimited access.
October 13th | Ride the Farm Fresh Race | 9am – 3pm
Johnson Farm invites you to this year’s Farm Fresh Race! Events range from a Juicebox Race (for those 8 and under) to a Competitive Mountain Bike Race. Click below for official rules and more details.
October 13th | Pancake Breakfast | 8am – 12pm
Show your support for the Bainbridge Island Fire Department at a pancake breakfast! Enjoy a tasty morning treat and a ride on the truck.
October 12th – 13th | Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk
Celebrate the season with the annual Pumpkin Walk at Bainbridge Gardens. Stroll along with historic Nature Trail and enjoy a grand display of lighted pumpkins, wander through the hay maze or enjoy a treat from New Rose Cafe.
October 22nd – 24th | 4th Annual Haunted Hayride
Come to Battle Point Park for festivities including face painting, crafts, games and prizes before enjoying a spooky ride along the pumpkin-lined trails to see ghosts, zombies, monsters and more.
October 31st | Halloween Walk | 4 – 6pm
Get dressed up in your costume for some community fun! Shops along Winslow Way will be closing at 3:30pm to sponsor a safe trick-or-treating evening filled with fun.
