Bainbridge Island Events January 2017
Happy New Year!
If the first week of 2017 is any indication, we at “Loving Island Life” are in for a busy year! We already have requests for showings, but with only 60 homes and 20 condos currently on the market (and some of those aren’t built yet) we don’t have a lot to show prospective clients. If you, or someone you know, have been thinking about selling but are waiting for the spring selling season, we would encourage you to think about getting your home on the market soon while competition is low and demand is high. We would be happy to sit down with you to discuss the market value of your home, and the steps you need to take to make sure your home shows well so that we can help you get top dollar.
Now that our out of town guests have gone home, it’s time to meet up with some friends and get back into the local social scene with Bainbridge Island Events for January 2017. This week we have First Friday Art Walk and a trunk show at BIMA featuring chocolate and coffee, hard to turn that one down! There will also be a jazz concert at the Waterfront Park Community Center featuring Thomas Marriott on trumpet. If you haven’t heard of him, we encourage you to go to his website to hear some samples of his music and to see some of the amazingly talented people he has played with. Lastly, the new catalogue of winter/spring activities is out at the Bainbridge Island Metro Parks and Recreation District. With everything from Arts and Crafts to Zumba, there is something (warm and cozy indoors, or out in the brisk fresh air!) for just about everyone. Karen will be on some of the Hooky Hiking Club snowshoeing and day hiking adventures!
