Summer is passing quickly, but don’t miss the fantastic events this August on Bainbridge Island! Join the First Friday Art Walk, enjoy the thrilling car show, and participate in the Founders Pickleball Tournament for a memorable month of fun!

Saturdays, 10am – 2pm | Bainbridge Island Farmers Market

With more than 40 local vendors, including farmersfood vendors, and crafters with artisan-made goods, there is something for everyone at the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market! Visit the open-air market every Saturday from 10am – 2pm, April through November (rain or shine!) in the Town Square by City Hall.

Stroll the streets of downtown and enjoy art, film, food, and community on the first Friday of every month. Bainbridge Island’s Art Walk features galleries, studios, museums, shops, and restaurants showcasing the creative talent of PNW artists.

Moonlight Market is a family-friendly night market with 30+ booths featuring a mix of art, slow fashion, crafts, jewelry, and vintage items. Enjoy street tacos, sourdough pizza, local oysters, and a beer garden with a thoughtful selection of beer, wine & scratch margaritas.

August 5, 12  – 9:30pm | BIMA Block Party

It’s the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art’s tenth birthday and we’re throwing a party! Come down to the Island Gateway on August 5 and celebrate with us from 12 PM – 9:30 PM with live music, art activities, food and vendor pop-ups, a beer and wine garden, and so much more!  Experience 12 bands playing across four stages; from Americana to hip-hop, funk to Latin music, BIMA is presenting regional musical acts including darlings of the local music scene.

August 9 – 13,| 4th Annual Bainbridge Island Founders Tournament

Bainbridge Island Pickleball is proud to host The Founders Tournament annually in August. The tournament is sponsored by and benefits, The Bainbridge Island Historical Museum, Bainbridge Island Pickleball, and the Bainbridge Island Parks and Recreation Department.

August 29, 5 – 8pm | Bainbridge Island Classic Car Cruise-In

The Bainbridge Island Classic Car Cruise-In combines the love of classic automobiles with a desire to help local kids. Open to the general public, come and enjoy cool cars and special interest vehicles, or bring one of your own (no fee or advance reservation required). The car show is great family fun. Donations will be accepted benefiting Project Backpack.
