“Loving Island Life” April Events Bainbridge Island
This Saturday is April 1st, a day we at “Loving Island Life” have been looking forward to with great anticipation. We’re not really pranksters, so it’s not April Fool’s Day we’re anticipating, but something much better! What could be better than playing tricks on your friends, you ask? The Bainbridge Island Farmer’s Market! You can check out their website for a list of participating farms, vendors, and crafters. Come to the town square in front of City Hall each Saturday from now until next December for high quality local products and an all-around fun time! It’s a great way to support our local farmers and artisans, and a fun place to meet up with friends. Hours are from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Bainbridge Island Parks and Recreation District has an amazing line up of activities to keep everyone in your family happy and active this spring and summer. Registration starts this week, and there truly is something for everyone, no matter your interest or age. Just to list a few activities, there is hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, swimming, boating, and birding for the outdoorsy types. Try painting, stained glass, and pottery for the artsy among you. Do you have happy feet? They’ve got you covered with dance classes with Sheila of Educated Feet. There are way too many options to list here, so here is a link to their online catalogue where you will find all of the classes and activities available and a link to the registration page.
Of special note is a really fun Bainbridge Island Easter tradition, the BI Parks mEGGa hunt! Here is the information from their website.
