“Loving Island Life” Bainbridge Community Broadcast
Bainbridge Islanders are, on the whole, a very friendly and welcoming group of people and Bainbridge Community Broadcasting keeps us up to date on island events! One of the things that we at “Loving Island Life” consider an important part of our job is helping our clients who are new to the island find ways to connect and become active in our community. Whether you are brand new to the island, or have lived here all your life, we want you to know about BCB – Bainbridge Community Broadcasting. Community broadcast volunteers bring you podcasts in categories such as Arts & Artists, Tastes of Bainbridge, Community Café, What’s Up Bainbridge, Bainbridge Outdoors, and Bainbridge on Campus for Teens. The subjects range from interviews with authors, or an Open Mic Science at the Treehouse talk on the Microbial Zoo, to events at Bainbridge Performing Arts. There are special broadcasts on “The State of Education on Bainbridge Island” and “Faith leaders speak up for climate change” among others.
The list of subjects covered is endless, and listening in on some of the podcasts will be a great introduction to the diversity of interests on the island, and some insight into what makes our community so vibrant.

“We’re the first and only all-volunteer nonprofit community podcasting project of Bainbridge Island, Washington. Our mission is to strengthen community by showing and telling stories of the people, organizations and events of our island community.”
