Dining at Heyday Farm – Year-Round Delight
If you’re looking to enjoy some of the best local food on Bainbridge Island, be sure to check out Heyday Farm. Located in a picturesque farmhouse with beautiful surrounding grounds, this intimate dining experience focuses on fresh, seasonal ingredients, much of which is sourced from the farm’s own gardens. Chef Tad prepares delightful dishes that celebrate the flavors of the Pacific Northwest. Heyday Farm is open year-round on Thursday and Friday evenings, starting at 4:30 pm with the last seating at 8:00 pm. Friends of the Library (FOL) Book Sale – March 9th & 23rd, 2025
The Friends of the Library (FOL) Book Sale is back, offering thousands of gently used books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, and magazines at unbeatable prices! Visit the Bainbridge Public Library on Sunday, March 9th and Sunday, March 23rd, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm to browse a wide variety of titles. Most books are priced at just $1 to $2, with mass-market paperbacks going for only $0.50! There will also be new books available for $3 and some special items priced higher. All proceeds from the sale support the library, making this a great way to find your next read while helping a beloved community resource.

Around the World in 80 Drums with Antonio Gomez – March 15th, 2025
In partnership with Early Music Seattle, the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA) is proud to host an incredible cultural performance: Around the World in 80 Drums with Antonio Gomez. On March 15th, 2025, at 11:00 am in the BIMA Auditorium, percussionist and educator Antonio Gomez will take audiences on a musical journey across the Mediterranean, North Africa, and Latin America. Through storytelling and performance, Gomez will explore how percussion instruments were spread through migration, trade, and conquest, and how they shaped the music we know today. With a background steeped in both Latin American and Mediterranean traditions, Gomez’s performance promises to be both educational and entertaining. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in a rich blend of music and culture.
First Friday Art Walk – April 4th
The First Friday Art Walk is always a highlight on Bainbridge Island, and this April it promises to be a vibrant celebration of local art and creativity. On April 4th, head to BIMA for an exciting evening. The entire museum will be activated with art, music, and interactive stations. The BIMA Bistro will serve up special menus to complement the atmosphere, and live music will flow through the galleries, creating a lively ambiance for visitors to enjoy. One of the highlights of the evening will be an Art in Action craft station, where you can try out your own artistic skills. Plus, don’t miss the Black Love Market’s booth featuring regional BIPOC artists. As the evening winds down, BIMA will host The After Party on First Friday, a musical celebration featuring the hottest local talent, from rising stars to seasoned performers.
Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market – Starting April 5th
Get ready for the return of one of Bainbridge Island’s favorite traditions! The Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market kicks off its season on April 5th and runs every Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm through the end of November. Located in the open area next to City Hall at 280 Madison Ave N, the market offers a vibrant selection of locally grown vegetables, flowers, handmade crafts, and specialty foods. With over 40 vendors, you’ll find everything from fresh produce and cheeses to homemade baked goods and delicious hot food options like omelets and pot stickers. Enjoy live music, shop for unique items, and support local farmers and artisans.
