Easter Egg Hunts

The Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District hosts two egg hunts for children of all ages. A Flashlight Egg Hunt for teens and a daytime mEGGa hunt for younger children. 

Wine on the Rock

  • Location: Various Bainbridge Wineries

Presented by the Winery Alliance of Bainbridge Island, this event features a tasting flight from each of the seven member wineries, paired with cheese. Customize your itinerary and select tasting times and days when purchasing tickets online.

National Trails Day

  • Date: June 1, 2024
  • Location: Bainbridge Island’s Hiking Trails

Celebrate National Trails Day with the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation and Bainbridge Island Metro Parks Department. Explore scenic hikes and receive a new BI Trails map, stickers, or snacks at Gazzam Lake Preserve, Fort Ward Park, or Grand Forest West.

Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale

Sounds of Summer Concert Series

The Summer Studio Tour is a celebration of the beauty and craftsmanship of local, handmade art on Bainbridge Island, Washington. Enjoy this free, self-guided art show that showcases the artistic talent of the community.

Within Earshot Jazz Festival

  • Location: Various venues on Bainbridge Island

Immerse yourself in the soulful rhythms of jazz at the Within Earshot Jazz Festival. Featuring talented musicians from the local jazz scene, this festival brings the island alive with captivating performances. Check for updates on specific dates and venues as the event approaches.

U-Pick Pumpkins at Suyematsu Farms

  • Mid-September through October
  • Location: Suyematsu Farms

Celebrate autumn at one of the oldest farms on Bainbridge. Choose from various squashes, gourds, and pumpkins. Capture festive photos and check their Facebook page for updates.

Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk

  • Date: October 1st – 31st
  • Location: Bainbridge Gardens

A family favorite tradition for almost three decades. The historic nature trail is adorned with hand-painted and carved pumpkins. Live music and food trucks are usually present on weekends.

Haunted Hayride

A family-friendly spooky event with ghosts and ghouls at Battle Point Park. Check BI Parks’ website for more information closer to the end of summer.

Halloween Walk

  • Date: October 31st
  • Location: Downtown Winslow

Downtown Winslow transforms into a trick-or-treat paradise. Hosted by the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association, enjoy getting candy from local shops and restaurants.

Bainbridge Island Turkey Trot

  •  Thanksgiving Day

Start your turkey day with a 1-mile or 5k run. Check the event website for information on the 2022 event as fall nears.

Community Tree Lighting

  • Saturday after Thanksgiving
  • Location: Winslow Green, Downtown Bainbridge

Kick off the Christmas season with tree lighting, nutcracker ballet, live music, and Santa’s arrival via firetruck.

Menorah on the Green

  • First Day of Hanukkah
  • Location: Winslow Green, Downtown Bainbridge

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with the Chabad of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap. Enjoy nightly candle lighting, latkes, donuts, live music, and arts and crafts.

Winter Studio Tour 2024

The Winter Studio Tour 2024, is another opportunity to explore and appreciate the local, handmade art scene on Bainbridge Island. This free, self-guided art show, celebrating craftsmanship and creativity, has been a tradition since 1984.
