All October | Bainbridge Gardens Pumpkin Walk

The Pumpkin Walk is a fun, festive, and free family-oriented event hosted by Bainbridge Gardens. Donations are accepted at this popular, non-scary event and benefit the Bainbridge Island Boys and Girls Club.

People of all ages come to walk along Bainbridge Gardens’ historic Nature Trail, to view hundreds of hand-designed pumpkins.

Saturdays, 10am – 2pm | Bainbridge Island Farmers Market

With more than 40 local vendors, including farmers, food vendors, and crafters with artisan-made goods, there is something for everyone at the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market! Visit the open-air market every Saturday from 10am – 2pm, April through November (rain or shine!) in the Town Square by City Hall.

October 12 & 22nd, 12pm – 4pm | Bainbridge Island Library

This month, there are two Bainbridge Island Friends of the Library book sales!  The sales are open to the public on the lower floor of the Bainbridge Public Library. The majority of our books are priced at $1-$2.  Most mass-market paperbacks are $0.50.  There are a few very special books on display tables for $2.50 and up.

October 12, 6:30 – 8:30pm| Brazil at the Marketplace!

Brazil at the Marketplace is a live free instrumental jam featuring Island Treasure Alan Simcoe’s ‘Entre Amigos.” The jam features bossa nova, brazilian jazz, dancing, drinks, chord and more! Fun for the family, friends, and musical aficionados!

October 13, 4 – 7pm | Salish Sea Greens Oyster Bar Pop-Up

Grab a glass of wine and join Salish Sea Greens as they shuck some of the finest oysters the Puget Sound has to offer. Their oyster bar is complete with all the fixings including kelp mignonette, lemon, and tabasco.

October 31, 3:30pm | Halloween Walk

On October 31st, downtown Bainbridge Island merchants will close Winslow Way at 3:30 p.m. and sponsor a safe trick-or-treating evening with spooky family fun.

Come in costume, listen for spooky tunes from the Eagle Harbor Church bell tower, drink free hot cider and place your vote for the best merchant costume at the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association booth on Winslow Way.

Free Trick-or-Treat bags will be available at the Downtown Association office before Halloween and at the cider booth on Halloween evening.
