Harbor Books is hosting Valentines fun: Seattle Chocolatiers and More.

Thursday, February 11, 2016 – 7:30pm to 8:30pm

“Getting ready for Valentine’s Day with a very sweet evening featuring chocolate, books, games, and more! Authors Cornelia Gallen-Kimmell and Cordula Drossel-Brown will regale you with everything chocolate as they talk about their book Seattle Chocolatiers. The fine folks at Bon Bon Confections will join us with some delightful treats. And we’ll have some fun games that both singles and sweeties can join in!

Seattle Chocolatiers is a guide to local, hand-made chocolate — it provides a glimpse into our local chocolate scene. The authors met 31 chocolatiers in and around Seattle, from Fran Bigelow of Fran’s Chocolates  to Andrea Terrenzio of Dolcetta Artisan Sweets, Aaron Barthel ofIntrigue Chocolate,  and of course Bainbridge Island’s own Mary Kay Joncock of Pink Peony Chocolates, to name a few.”

Ritchie Observatory, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, astronomer Dave Fong will tell tales from ancient star lore. If the sky is clear, astronomers will be on hand with telescopes.
